Joseph mayor bill mcmurry says there will be enforcement of the city stay at home order.

The new order that went into place at midnight added steps that could include fines for those who do not obey.

To help slow the spread of the virus, the mayor says they were exceptions to closing down.

He said he had led to adjustments with the new ordinance including enforcement procedures to ensure only essential businesses remain open.

The health department is in charge of enforcing these stay at home measures.

A cease and desist letter followed up with citations.

Meaning if you see an open business you think should be closed.

The health department encourages you to correct the covid-19 hot line number.
