Newschannel 2's callihan marshall spoke with a local rabbi, about the impact and how he's trying to bring more normalcy to those who celebrate.

Callihan.

Good evening jason- so passover is one of the most widely celebrated jewish holidays.

Its compared to thanksgiving.

Family usually gets together, but due to social distancing and travel restrictions, that won't be happening for some, this year.

Kids singing the questions this is rabbi didy waks and three of his kids singing the questions they'll ask at a dinner during passover.

It's a seven day holiday, that starts next wednesday.

During the holiday there's a meal called a sader.

The meal gets the kids excited to ask questions about the holiday and the history of the jews.

And most families usually get together for this, but due to social distancing some families are unable to do that.

So the rabbi and his wife are doing something really cool,to help bring more normalcy to the holiday.

Diddy waks says: "it's hard because there are still people who live alone and can't participate in any kind of sader, but what we've done is we've created a passover sader box for local jews who sort of want to do a sader and want to do this event but don't necessarily know how to put it all together so quickly so, because this is something we do, we created this passover with a box in the box- the hagada-which is sort of like directions for your own seder.

Matzah, the bitter herbs, and other essentials.

If you're interested in a box or just have any questions..you can emeail the habbad of clinton.

I'll have their email on our website wktv.com.
