It's Sky Brown again.

I've been getting a lot of emails, texts, DM's about the Olympics.

'Are you ok?'

And Yes I'm ok!

I mean it's just been delayed.

It's been postponed.

And that's why I want to talk to you from me.

So yes the Olympics was my biggest dream.

I wanted to be Britain's youngest-ever Olympian.

And yes it felt.....for all the other athletes their dream are this big and so important but it's not actually that important.

It's actually this small if you compare it to people's lives and we know that people are really in danger right now especially the elderly, our grandma's and grandpa's and people that are already sick and their lives are at risk right now so that's why we need to be in quarantine so I think quarantine is good because we get to do the stuff you usually don't do.

That we don't really have time for.

And for me just spending more time with your family.

Finding fun stuff to do in your home like being creative.

I'm playing my guitar.

Trying to stay fit.

Find some fun stuff to do.

Spend time with my family and I think it's really nice to spend time with your family like it's nice because you usually don't do that.

And I know that some of the athletes their dreams is crushed but it's not actually.

The Olympics is probably going to be 2021.

It just means that we get a longer journey.

We just have to enjoy this journey.

Just have fun and keep on getting better and that's what I want to talk to you guys about.

STORY: Sky Brown, the 11-year-old skateboarding prodigy who was poised to become Britain's youngest ever Olympian at the 2020 Tokyo Games, sent a message to fans on Tuesday (March 24) telling them that she was fine, spending time with her family and explaining that her Olympic dream wasn't derailed, it's just become a "longer journey".

She urged her fan base to stay quarentined and safe.

Brown, who was born in Japan to a British father and Japanese mother, would have been 12 years-old when the 2020 Olympics kicked off in July.

Her appearance would have eclipsed the record set by swimmer Margery Hinton, who was 13 years and 43 days when she competed at the 1928 Olympics in Amsterdam.
