A White House official said President Donald Trump is bringing back former economic adviser Kevin Hassett.
The official said Hassett will help with the coronavirus crisis and “advise on economic policy in his personal capacity.” Hassett left the White House in June 2019 as chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers.
According to Reuters, he warned of dramatic job losses related to the COVID-19 virus.
