'Putting horse after Holi...': Congress on Delhi violence debate in Parliament

Indian National Congress party targeted the Union government over the latter's opposition to a discussion in Parliament on the recent Delhi violence.

Congress' Abhishek Manu Singhvi mocked the government's offer that a discussion be held after the festival of Holi.

Singhvi also slammed the government's contention that a discussion should only be held once 'normalcy returns'.

Over 45 people were killed in the violence that gripped the northeastern parts of the national capital last week.

The violence had lasted three days.
