Day In Court Set For Giuliani Pals Lev Parnas, Igor Fruman

Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman are set to go on trial on October 5th, 2020.

Parnas and Fruman are two associates of President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani.

The pair were charged last October over allegedly making an illegal $325,000 donation to a Trump re-election PAC.

Federal prosecutors have also been examining payments to Giuliani as part of an active criminal investigation.

Giuliani has not been criminally charged and has denied wrongdoing.

US District Judge Paul Oetken in Manhattan set the trial date after lawyers said it offered sufficient time to sort through the evidence.

The move sets the stage for more information to emerge about their alleged campaign finance violations before the presidential election.
