Preoccupied Pedestrian Leads to Needless Accident
Preoccupied Pedestrian Leads to Needless Accident

Occurred on January 12, 2020 / Toronto, Ontario, Canada Info from Licensor: "Travelling northbound 427 approaching Burnhamthorpe Road in Toronto, Canada, I was moving to the right to take my exit.

I noticed a vehicle on the right shoulder, so I slowed down and moved over slightly to the left.

All of a sudden, traffic stopped to my left.

I had no idea why, then a pedestrian stepped into my path!

I was traveling at about 80km/h.

It took me 3 seconds to stop just short of running this guy down.

Immediately, I got rear-ended by a Porsche Cayenne.

The pedestrian then went on his way to apparently argue with the person at the vehicle on the right shoulder, who was involved in a 3 vehicle collision that happened a few minutes prior."
