Oscars to go Hostless for the Second Straight Year.

The decision has been confirmed by ABC boss Karey Burke.

It follows a previous move to have the 2019 Oscars go without an emcee.

Despite no host, last year's Academy Awards received positive reviews for its pace.

Compared to 2018, viewership also jumped 12 percent with nearly 30 million tuning in.

In May of 2019, Burke hinted that the 2020 event would go without a host as well.
