Biden May Serve Only 1 Presidential Term if Elected

Biden May Serve Just One President Term if Elected.

Polls show the former VP still leading the pack in the 2020 race for the Democratic nomination.

According to Politico reports, Biden is hinting at the one-term plan to campaign aides.

Should he win in 2020, Biden will be 82 when his first term ends.

A campaign adviser says this turns him into an effective transitional figure for the future of the Democratic party.

This makes Biden a good transition figure.

I'd love to have an election this year for the next generation of leaders, but if I have to wait four years [in order to] to get rid of Trump, I'm willing to do it.

He’s going into this thinking, β€˜I want to find a running mate I can turn things over to after four years but if that’s not possible or doesn’t happen then I’ll run for re-election.’ .

Earlier in the year, Biden adamantly brushed off rumors that he'd just serve one term.

Recently, he stance on the notion has shifted to becoming more ambiguous
