Arctic Blast Continues To Hold 75% Of The US In Its Icy Grip

Arctic conditions are to blame for at least four deaths, and the weather is only expected to get worse.

Arctic air has been moving across the eastern two-thirds of the United States, bringing frigid temps and snow.

About 70% of the US population is expected to see temperatures at or below freezing.

"Freeze warnings continue into the Deep South, with freezing temperatures in Florida this morning," CNN meteorologist Dave Hennen The bitter cold peaked in the morning, when at 7:45 a.m.
