Moment Hilary Duff carries massive stuffed llama through New York park and prop's head falls off

This is the hilarious moment Hilary Duff was spotted carrying a stuffed llama across a busy New York park - before its head snapped off and landed in a puddle.

The 32-year-old actress was spotted carrying the large toy earlier this week in Washington Square Park, New York.

Duff - who was gifted a real an alpaca for Valentine's Day by fiancé Matthew Koma, 32, - was seen carrying a stuffed white llama through the tourist hotspot.

It is thought she was filming for the Lizzie McGuire Disney+ reboot.

The mum-of-two, who was wearing a chic mustard coat, appeared to laugh off the blunder and continued to carry the two-part prop across the square.

An eyewitness said: "It was just funny really.

"My nephew is a big fan so I got my camera out to get some good shots.

"She was traipsing around in the rain carrying this huge llama.

"She was walking quite quick and then the neck just snapped off.

"You could tell that just wasn't meant to happen at all.

"When you look at her face you can tell that was not meant to fall off." On Tuesday Hilary took to Instagram to tell fans filming had begun for the Disney+ reboot, which sees teen Lizzie McGuire all grown up and living in New York in her 30s.

She captioned a picture of her outside the Washington Square Park Arch with: "Happy first LIZZIE day!!!!!

NYC.....cue the rain ??

The Lizzie McGuire Show ran for two reasons between 2001-04 and followed 13-year-old girl Lizzie as she navigated family drama, first crushes and school with her best friends - with an animated version of Lizzie sharing her innermost thoughts.
