British fashion icon Vivienne Westwood joined a climate change protest outside the London headquarters of BP on Friday (October 18).

She was flanked by two activists from Papua New Guinea.

(...) Capitalism is the problem, we've got to fight it." The city has been hit for days by climate change demonstrations by the Extinction Rebellion protest group.

On Thursday (October 17) some London commuter train lines were brought to a standstill when members climbed atop the carriages.

Scuffles broke out when angry commuters dragged some of the protesters off.
