Trump Signs Trade Agreement With Japan

President Donald Trump signed a trade agreement with Japan.

According to Business Insider, this will reopen some markets for American farmers.

Farmer lost markets after the U.S. withdrew from a multilateral Asia-Pacific pact in 2017.

Trump said their relationship with Japan “has never been better than it is right now.” U.S. officials estimate the deal reduces tariffs for roughly $7 billion worth of American agricultural products.
