Netanyahu Rejected By Opponent Gantz But Opened To Talk

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently offered his election challenger to discuss forming an Israeli unity government.

This comes after an election that was too close to call between Netanyahu and Benny Gantz.

According to Reuters, the offer was rejected and Netanyahu said he was disappointed but remained opened to talk.

Netanyahu said he was surprised that Gantz continues to refuse his call to meet and discuss options.

He said: β€œGantz, my offer that the two of us meet stands.
