Survey: Most Americans Don't Support Trump's Trade War With China

Americans aren't happy about the effects of the ongoing trade dispute between the US and China.

A New York Times survey showed 63% of Americans say the president's trade policies were bad in the short-term.

According to Markets Insider, that could put a key reelection argument for President Donald Trump in jeopardy.

The US and China have restarted talks but hopes for a deal have dimmed since May.

That's when the two sides escalated tensions just as they were seen as on the brink of a deal.
