Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner Won't Seek Reelection Next Year

Rep.

Jim Sensenbrenner is the second-longest serving member of the House.

He's a Republican from Wisconsin.

On Wednesday he announced he won’t seek reelection next year.

Sensenbrenner was first elected in the 1978 midterms. He joins more than a dozen other House Republicans who have already announced their retirements.
