Researchers Say Teens Who Vape Are More Likely To Use Marijuana

Researchers say that teenagers who use e-cigarettes are more likely to use other substances.

According to a new study published in JAMA, young people who vape are 3.5 times more likely to smoke marijuana.

UPI reports that researchers analyzed studies that looked at e-cigarette use people between ages 10 and 24.

They found that kids aged 12 -17 who vaped had four times the risk of going on to smoke pot than those aged 18 - 24.
