Stranded Civilians Rescued After Typhoon Lekima Sweeps Eastern China

Dozens were killed and more than a million people were evacuated after Typhoon Lekima swept eastern China, state media reported on August 11.

The Typhoon landed the early hours of August 10 in the city of Wenling in the Zhejiang Province in eastern China, where nearly 1.22 million people were evacuated from their homes.

This video shows firefighters carrying out evacuations in Zhejiang, Shandong and Anhui provinces on August 10 and 11.
