Trump Eases Huawei's Sanctions In Trade War With China

According to a report by Gizmodo, US President Donald Trump and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping appeared to reach a tenuous 'cease-fire' in the ongoing US-China trade war.

The Wall Street Journal originally reported that the US will "remove some curbs on Huawei Technologies buying high-tech equipment from the US." Trump reportedly said that the cease-fire declared this weekend will delay imposing new tariffs on 300 billion-dollars in Chinese goods that aren't already subject to 25 percent tariffs, in exchange for China purchasing "large amounts of American farm products."
