U.S. Islamic State Recruiter Sentenced To 4 Years In Prison

According to Reuters, an Islamic State recruiter from the U.S., known to others as “Umm Nutella," was sentenced to four years in prison on Wednesday.

Federal prosecutors said 24-year-old New Jersey-born Sinmyah Amera Ceasar double-crossed federal agents after agreeing to cooperate with them.

The sentence, imposed by U.S. District Court Judge Jack Weinstein, followed the prosecutors' suggestion of 30 to 50 years.
