The Raptors star gave up about $21.3 million to become an unrestricted free agent.

Toronto can offer Leonard a five-year, $189.7 million max extension, while other teams can offer up to a four-year, $140.6 million contract.

Leonard led the Raptors to their first NBA championship in franchise history.
