Jim Cramer: How the Market Could Go Higher After the 2020 Election

President Trump took to Twitter over the weekend to weigh in on what would happen to the markets if he wasn't reelected.

The Trump Economy is setting records, and has a long way up to go....However, if anyone but me takes over in 2020 (I know the competition very well), there will be a Market Crash the likes of which has not been seen before!

KEEP AMERICA GREAT — Donald J.

Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 15, 2019 Jim Cramer said that he doesn't believe that the markets will crash if a Democrat with policies like presidential candidate Joe Biden wins the presidency.

"If Biden were elected, the market would go higher," said Cramer.

However, Cramer noted that the economy is "very strong," but there's a "lot of tension in the market." What could lead to a market crash?

Cramer said that it would take a presidential candidate with more socialist policies being elected to cause the market to crash.
