UAW Hopes To Unionize Chattanooga Tennessee VW Plant

Workers at Volkswagen Group's Chattanooga, Tenn., assembly plant are voting on whether to unionize.

According to Automotive news, more than 1,700 workers will go to the polls Wednesday through Friday as the United Automobile Workers (UAW) try to unionize the foreign automaker.

The UAW believes a union would create negotiating power for VW workers, but those who are against the union believe it could force jobs out.
