Former Police Officer Faces Prison Sentence For Fatal Shooting Of Australian Woman

According to a report by Reuters, on Friday, a former Minneapolis police officer faces the possibility of prison time when he is sentenced for the fatal shooting of an Australian woman almost two years ago after she had called the police to report a possible assault.

In April, 33 year-old Mohamed Noor was convicted of third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter for the shooting death of 40 year-old Justine Ruszczyk Damond outside her home near Minneapolis.
