S&P 500 Is Rising After First Monthly Decline In 2019

According to Reuters, the S&P 500 is about 5-percent away from it's record high.

On June 5th, the benchmark index rose half a percent, gaining 15-points, which brought the market to 2,818.

After setting a new all-time high early in May, the S&P receded for the rest of the month, marking it's first monthly decline of 2019.

Since May 1st, the S&P has shrank by 6-percent, but a recent rally by technology stocks is giving the benchmark index a boost.
