U.N. Celebrates World Environment Day With New Song

Wednesday, June 5 is World Environment Day.

To celebrate, Mother Nature Network reports that the United Nations is sharing a new song and music video called "ONE Life." The song zeroes in on the severity of climate change.

The U.N.'s message is similar to "We are The World," which gathered celebrities like Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie to raised awareness about famine in Africa.

ONE Life organizers hope to have the same impact through music.

The producers of the song, Brand New World Studios, brought together 150 writers, producers, choreographers, filmmakers and musicians.

Musicians include 10-time Grammy award winner, Chaka Khan—and 16 year-old Chevel Shepherd, who won "The Voice" last season.

ONE Life is available to view on YouTube or on MNN's website.
