Flooding Expected In U.S. Southern Plains After Deadly Storms

Reuters reports weather forecasters on Wednesday predicted heavy rains would fall on U.S. southern and central states, where recent thunderstorms and tornadoes killed at least three people and caused major flooding.

More than 30 tornadoes have struck a stretch of land from Texas to Iowa since Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

One person was killed and another was injured in Adair, Iowa.
