(SOUNDBITE) (English) WATFORD COACH, JAVI GARCIA, SAYING: "Very tough defeat, a very tough result.

I know it's a difficult moment now to recognise other things, but I think my players deserve that recognition.

Today, we've lost.

Today, City was better than us, much better than us.

But, there was a moment in the game, there were different moments.

We started the game well.

We created the best chance for us with Roberto Pereyra after ten minutes.

You need to score that chance if you want to have some chance to win the game.

And after that I speak about one or two plays after losing 6-0 - it's difficult to explain, but I'm happy with the first part of the game.

And after, you know, you are competing against City, and if you leave them spaces then they show their quality and they are really good players." STORY: Watford coach Javi Garcia said his players deserved recognition for what they accomplished on the season despite a 6-0 thrashing from Manchester City at the FA Cup final on Saturday (May 18).

Other than one early chance for Roberto Pereyra, Watford never looked remotely capable of ending their 30-year winless run against City in their second appearance in the final having lost to Everton in 1984.

"Today, we've lost.

Today, City was better than us, much better than us.

But, there was a moment in the game, there were different moments," said Garcia, whose team finished 11th in the league, 48 points behind the champions.
