TROPHY PRESENTATION AND CHAPAGNE CELEBRATIONS STORY: Beitske Visser of the Netherlands led from start to finish to claim the second round of the women's motor racing W Series held in Zolder, Belgium on Saturday (May 18).

Visser made a great start from second place on the grid to take the lead from Briton Jamie Chadwick who had won the opening round at Hockenheim two weeks ago.

The safety car was immediately deployed as Sarah Tovy's car was stuck on the grid with smoke pouring from it and within moments of the track being cleared, the safety car was out again after a collision between Gosia Rdest of Poland and Esmee Hawkey of Great Britain.

When the race did get underway, Visser pulled away from Chadwick and Alice Powell of Great Britain.

The two Britons became engaged in a great battle over the final laps with Chadwick eventually taking second place, 8.451 seconds behind Visser.

After two rounds of the six-race championship, Chadwick leads with 43 points from Visser who has 37 and Powell with 33.

The third round takes place at Misano, Italy on June 8.
