Supreme Court Allows Anti Trust Suit Against Apple's App Store

According to Reuters, the US Supreme Court will allow an anti-trust lawsuit against Apple to proceed.

In a 5-to-4 ruling, the court justices upheld a lower court’s decision to allow the proposed class action case to continue.

The suit alleges that Apple monopolized the software market for Mac-based products, like the iPhone, through the App Store.

Apple charges a 30-percent commission on App Store purchases.
