Getting a good night’s rest is hard enough.

And when you finally do, that alarm just seems to go off -- doesn’t it?

????Fear not, we have some morning tips to kick start your day.

????If you’re leaping out of bed to check your phone cut it out!

????Doctor’s orders.

????Licensed psychologist and board certified neurotherapist -- Dr. Catherine Jackson tells -- ????Rushing around can put unnecessary stress on your body.

????While Dr. Kristamarie Collman explains -- ????seeing missed notifications can trigger stress and anxiety.

????Both doctors recommend taking a few minutes to enjoy your morning.

Try stretching as you lay in bed or meditating.

????And when it comes to the age old debate -- to eat breakfast or not.

????While everyone’s body is different Dr. Jackson says, you need to refuel your body sooner rather than later.

Even something small but high in nutrients will do -- Try an egg and a little avocado.

????And you may want to reconsider drinking juice in the AM.

????Certified health coach Marissa Szabo explained to that since there’s no fiber in the juice the sugar spikes your blood and sugar levels causing you to crash a few hours later.

????Some good fiber filled fruits -- according to the mayo clinic -- raspberries and pears.
