Indonesia Is Moving Its Capital As Jakarta Sinks Deeper

Gizmodo reports Indonesia is moving its capital.

Jakarta has always been the country's capital city, but the coastal city of 10 million people on the northern coast of Java is rapidly becoming more dangerous and unlivable due to climate change and pollution.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo decided Monday to move the capital after discussing the plan for a while internally.
