Trump Administration Proposes Oil Drilling On 1 Million Acres In California

Huff Post reports the Trump administration on Thursday unveiled a plan to make available over 1 million acres of public and private land in California to oil drilling and fracking.

The Bureau of Land Management released its “environmental impact statement” on Thursday, including a proposal to open public land and federal mineral estate to fossil fuel extraction.

There will be a 45-day period for public comment on the agency’s proposal.
