The Queen has invited U.S. President Donald Trump to the UK from June 3rd to the 5th.

An official statement was released by Buckingham Palace on Tuesday (April 23).

And the invite has been accepted.

Trump's first official trip to Britain took place in July last year.

And it didn't go unnoticed.

He had his supporters.

But the trip is often remembered for the tens of thousands of people who marched through London to protest the visit.

And then there was this snarling orange baby blimp on display outside parliament.

Protestors followed the president to Windsor Castle where he met Britain's Queen Elizabeth.

The then 92-year-old monarch was forced at one point to walk around Trump after he halted abruptly during a ceremonial inspection of the guard.

He also met British Prime Minister Theresa May at her country residence to discuss post-Brexit ties.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. PRESIDENT, DONALD TRUMP, SAYING: "The enduring relationship between our nations has never been stronger than it is now.

So madam prime minister thank you very much.

It's been an honour.

Thank you." Trump's first visit to the UK was supposed to happen months before… But he cancelled it.

He disapproved of the relocation of the U.S. embassy in London and refused to participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new building.
