Deadly Storm In U.S. South Leaves Many Without Power As It Moves East

According to a report by Reuters, on Friday, severe storms that claimed three lives in the US South moved eastward, causing widespread power outages and threatening tornadoes along the east coast from Pennsylvania to Florida.

National Weather Service meteorologist Bob Oravec said, "The severe thunderstorms will impact the deep South and southeastern U.S., through Georgia and the Florida panhandle, before it heads up the Atlantic Coast.
