(SOUNDBITE)(English) AMIR KHAN SAYING "Yes this definitely ranks at the top for me because fighting a world champion, Terence is up there in the pound for pound rankings, maybe number one or number two so it's just amazing for me to be in this position once again. That in itself is a great motivation for me to know that I'm fighting the best out there once again and it makes me train harder, work harder.

I'm focused for this fight and I know that I can't make any mistakes in this fight because I could be in trouble." STORY: Britain's Amir Khan is set to fight WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford (34-0) at Madison Square Garden on Saturday in a fight he says he can win but admitted at a news conference on Wednesday (April 17) at Madison Square Garden that a single mistake could lead to disaster.

Crawford is considered one of the pound for pound best in the fight game.

The 31-year-old from Omaha, Nebraska has held multiple championships in three weight classes and is coming off a 12th round knockout of Jose Benavidez, his first defense of his WBO title which took place in October of last year.

Khan, (33-4), became a superstar at a young age, shooting to fame as a 17 year-old Olympic silver medalist in the Athens Summer Olympics in 2004.

In his most recent outing, Khan scored a unanimous decision against Samuel Vargas in a welterweight fight that went the distance at UK's Arena Birmingham in September.

Khan has returned to the welterweight division after having moved up two weight classes' to fight Canelo Alvarez for the Mexican champion's middleweight titles in May of 2016.

Khan was knocked out in the 6th round of that fight which took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
