Healthcare Stocks Are In Decline

According to Reuters, healthcare stocks in decline on Wall Street put pressure on a global gauge of stocks.

On April 17th, MSCI’s all-country world stock index rose about two-tenths of a percent.

Those gains were buoyed by data from China that showed its economy grew by 6.4-percent in the first quarter.

But losses for healthcare stocks held MSCI's global equity gauge in check.

United Health Group, Merck & Co., and Pfizer lost between 3-and-4 percent on the day.
