S&P's Healthcare Index Erases 2019 Gains

According to Reuters, the S&P's healthcare index is in decline for a second day.

By the afternoon on April 17th, the S&P 500 was down 11-points, bringing the benchmark index down to 2,895.

The S&P's healthcare index contributed most of those losses, which lost 3.4-percent on the day.

Combined with yesterday's losses, the S&P's healthcare index erased its year-to-date gains.

On the healthcare index, United Health Group, Merck & Co, and Pfizer lost between 3-and-4 percent.
