President Trump tweeted that his administration will be considering an immigration policy that the White House just said was no longer being considered.????The Washington Post reported that White House officials pitched the idea of detaining migrants in the U.S. in so-called sanctuary cities…????...not with the objective to ease the growing groups at the southern border but rather as a retaliation to Trump’s political rivals.????The White House told the Post the suggestion is no longer being considered.????Then President Trump tweeted that “...we are indeed, as reported, giving strong considerations to placing illegal immigrants in sanctuary cities…”????...and in another tweet, adding “The radical left always seems to have an open borders, open arms policy -- so this should make them very happy!”????According to the Post, San Francisco, in Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s district was one of the sites discussed.

????The leader of House Democrats has called for comprehensive immigration reform and when hearing the story, told reporters…????...that the sanctuary cities idea was “...just another notion that is unworthy of the presidency of the United States and disrespectful to the challenges that we face as a country…”
