Intense Fire Forces Residents to Flee Dolphin Sands on Tasmanian Coast

Firefighting efforts in Dolphin Sands, Tasmania, were successful in downgrading an intense bushfire to a ‘watch and act’ warning on Wednesday, April 10.This footage shows intense flames just metres from vehicles and a boat on April 9, when an emergency warning was issued.Residents were evacuated, and homes were threatened by smoke, embers, and falling ash, Nine News reported.Tasmania Fire Service said the fire started after a registered burn escaped from a property.
