U.S. Could Take Two Years To Identify Families Separated At Border

Reuters reports the US government said in a court filing it could take up to two years to identify potentially thousands of children who were separated from their parents at the the US-Mexico border.

The filing on Friday detailed the Trump administration’s plan for identifying family members.

It said they would be assessing thousands of records using a combination of data analysis, statistical science, and manual review.
