The singer lamented to his 1.6 million followers on Instagram, saying "I really hate letting you down like this." Though he also said but said he'd be "working very hard to be back on stage" soon.

The 75-year-old rock star was expected to make a full recovery, the band's publicist said.

Fans have been told they can hold onto their tickets for future rescheduled shows.
