UK Parliament Prepares For Brexit Alternatives

According to Business Insider, members of the British Parliament are preparing a series of votes for deciding on an alternative to Brexit.

The House of Commons chose to hold the series of indicative votes after Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit deal was voted down by two meaningful votes.

The latest series of votes were secured by Conservative MP Oliver Letwin who proposed an amendment to the withdrawal agreement calling for alternatives.

Although the results won't be legally binding to Prime Minister May, they are putting additional political pressure on the prime minister to adopt a new Brexit plan.
