Library Of Congress Adds New Recordings To Its Registry Including Jay-Z And Cyndi Lauper

The Library of Congress has added 25 "audio treasures" to its National Recording Registry, CNN reports.

The new additions include albums from Jay-Z and Cyndi Lauper.

Boxed set and Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" are also new to the registry.

Each year, the Librarian of Congress selects 25 recordings for the registry that are "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant." The recordings must also be at least 10 years old.
