Suspect Charged With Murder After New Zealand Shootings

According to Reuters, after a devastating series of shootings that took place at New Zealand mosques, the main suspect in the case has been charged with one count of murder.

The man was charged a day after the attack took place that resulted in the death of 49 people and has left dozens wounded.

This attack has prompted the prime minister to vow reform of the country’s gun laws.

The suspect, named Brenton Harrison Tarrant, is a 28-year old Australian citizen.
