Pelosi Says U.S. House to Vote On Overriding Trump Border-Wall Related Veto

According to Reuters, U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that the chamber will vote on March 26 on overriding President Donald Trump’s veto of a border-wall related resolution.

In a statement, Pelosi accused Trump of a “lawless power grab." She said that “On March 26, the House will once again act to protect our Constitution and our democracy from the president’s emergency declaration by holding a vote to override his veto.”
