Norwegian Air To Seek Compensation From Boeing For MAX Groundings

Norwegian Air said it will seek compensation from plane maker Boeing for costs and lost revenue.

The airliner grounded its fleet of 737 MAX 8 aircraft in the wake of the Ethiopian Airlines crash.

Norwegian said in a statement that, โ€œWe expect Boeing to take this bill." The Oslo-based airline has 18 โ€˜MAXโ€™ passenger jets in its 163-aircraft fleet.

According to Reuters, European regulators grounded the aircraft following Sundayโ€™s crash of a similar plane in Ethiopia.
