U.S. Women’s National Team Soccer Players: Same Play? Same Pay!

On International Women's Day, many shared powerful quotes and photos of admirable women.

But according to Allure Magazine, 28 players from the U.S. women's national soccer team spent the day a little differently.

They file a class-action lawsuit against the U.S. Soccer Federation alleging "institutionalized gender discrimination." The historic lawsuit was filed under the Equal Pay Act and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act.

It claims that despite players performing the same job for the USSF, females have been consistently paid less money than males.
