Turkish Troops Begin Patrols in Idlib Demilitarized Zone

The Turkish army announced that their troops began patrols in the demilitarized zone in Idlib, Syria, on March 8.

Russian troops would be patrolling outside the city, Anadolu Agency reported.

In September, Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart, Recep Erdogan, agreed to create a buffer zone in Idlib, Reuters reported.
