The House Just Voted On Trumps Border Wall Emergency

The new democratic House of Representatives passed a resolution that aims to terminate President Donald Trump's national emergency declaration to reprogram federal funds for construction of additional physical barriers along the United States-Mexico border.

Business Insider reports that mostly Democrats voted in favor of the resolution, but more than a dozen Republicans joined Democrats supporting the resolution.

The resolution will need to gain significant support from Republicans in order to override a veto by Trump.
